Having joined on a short-term deal from Swedish side Ostersunds earlier that summer, the winger made a huge impression in his first senior outing as he won the free-kick that Gylfi Sigurdsson fired home to equaliser against the Gunners before Bafe Gomis headed in the winner.
Made further appearances off the bench against Manchester City and Crystal Palace before earning his first start in the 6-2 win over Tranmere in the FA Cup - a match in which he scored his first goal for the club.
