A product of Bradford City’s youth academy, Oli signed for Swansea City on a three-year deal in July 2015.
The Scotland Under-21 international has gained first-team experience in League One with Bradford City and played for Manchester United in the 2013 Milk Cup.
He joined Swansea City’s Under-21s on their pre-season tour of Holland ahead of the 2015-16 season.
Oliver scored on his Swans U21s debut in a 1-0 win over Brighton in August 2015 in Premier League Division Two before joining League Two side Newport County in November.
At the Exiles, the striker came off the bench to score a 23 minute hat-trick against Luton on his debut before being recalled to Swansea in December.
He then went back out on loan to Bristol Rovers, making five appearances as he helped them to automatic promotion from League Two.
On his return to the Swans, he was part of the first-team squad's tour of America, with McBurnie scoring a spectacular goal in the 4-0 win over Charlotte Independence.
